Founder-led creative experiences

Art is the invitation.
Connection is the outcome.

Meet Nasim Askar—founder of Paint Events, artist, creative experience designer, event facilitator, community arts organizer, and Therapeutic Art Coach.

Meet Nasim

A founder who guides from inside the experience.

Nasim created Paint Events to make professionally guided art feel warm, social, and possible for people who may not think of themselves as artists.

Her work brings together artistic practice, event facilitation, creative experience design, and community organizing. Each event is structured enough to make participation easy and flexible enough to let every guest make the work their own.

Accurate credential: Nasim is a Therapeutic Art Coach. Paint Events uses a therapeutic-art-informed approach; it is not clinical therapy and is not represented as mental-health treatment.

Paint Events origin

A mobile studio designed to meet people where they are.

Paint Events brings the creative environment to offices, homes, schools, venues, outdoor spaces, and community settings across Southern California.

The goal is practical and human: remove the pressure of needing experience, make the setup easy for hosts, and create a comfortable reason for people to make something side by side.

More Than a Painting Class

The finished canvas matters, but so do the small moments around it: slowing down, trying something unfamiliar, laughing with a colleague, seeing another person’s interpretation, and leaving with a physical reminder of shared time.

Confirmed experience

A format with clear, practical boundaries.

Paint Events philosophy

Welcome first. Guide clearly. Leave room for individuality.

Creative confidence matters more than perfect artwork.

  1. 01

    Make it approachable

No prior art experience is required to participate meaningfully.

  2. 02

    Guide with care

Step-by-step facilitation gives the room a shared pace and clear next step.

  3. 03

    Respect every result

Guests can follow the demonstration while making personal choices along the way.

  4. 04

    Design for connection

The activity gives people a natural way to share time without forced interaction.
